My Reviewers allows ADMINS and instructors to create customizable grading rubrics. The goal is for users to interact with the MyR system in a malleable way, because we understand that no single rubric will work across all genres, specialties, and fields of study. Users will go through the Rubric Management workflow, preferably at the beginning of the semester, to create rubrics for specific courses, assignments, and project drafts.
ADMINS and instructors both have the option to customize a rubric. Or, if you would rather, the My Reviewers Team will be more than happy to set up a rubric(s) for you.
Milestones are markers that let reviewers know how well a peer is meeting the requirements for a certain criteria. They should help take some of the guesswork out when students assign grades and leave comments. For example, if students score their peers on a scale from 0-10, you might assign milestones at 0, 5, 7, and 10. They might look something like this:
0: Student fails to meet assignment requirements
5: Student meets some assignment requirements
7: Student meets most of the assignment requirements
10: Student meets all assignment requirements
Each milestone should give concrete and specific details that students can use to gauge how well a peer is doing.
