Since its creation in 2008, MyReviewers has been rapidly growing in the size of its users and corpus. We are pleased to announce that we now have a total of 362,186 peer reviews, 295,781 student uploads, and 201,555 instructor grades for a total of 563,741 reviewed papers. These numbers reflect a combination of data from students at not only the University of South Florida but also from other pilot schools such as MIT, University of Pennsylvania, University of Miami, and North Carolina State University. USF researchers will be using this data for quantitative analysis of both chemistry and writing courses, forthcoming in the peer-reviewed journal, The Journal of Writing Analytics.
In the upcoming year, the MyReviewers developers and technical writers are further developing this peer review and assessment program. This coming fall we hope to have the program accessible for students’ and professors’ mobile devices, allowing users to access MyReviewers on multiple devices rather than just a computer.
